Troubleshooting

Installation

— If you have an iPhone, use the iTunes store to download the app and if you have Android, use the Google Play Store. Going to the wrong link will look as if your smartphone is not supported, but, in fact, you simply went to the wrong location for your phone

— iTunes may not support iPhone 5 or earlier versions

General Issues

— Video: Android app freezes or loads forever -- what to do

Map Issues

— If the locations or interests don't populate on your maps (including when making an event the Google Search comes up blank), either you are not accessing the internet or your phone has run out of RAM. To fix the latter issue, close the app and reopen it and everything should work again.

Event | Guest Issues

— If the locations or interests don't populate on your maps when making an event (the Location Search comes up blank), either you are not accessing the internet or your phone has run out of RAM. To fix the latter issue, close the app and reopen it and everything should work again.

— Please note: Invitations don't always get sent the moment you save your Event and immediately when you add guests. Allow several hours. You need to Save the event for invitations to go out, including if you are adding guests after you have already created the event using the Edit function.

— If a guest by accident puts the wrong number in their Qlumi app (ie. home number instead of their mobile number, or an error in the numbers, etc), they will not receive your invitations.

— Android is currently only seeing the first number you have in your contacts for a person. If their mobile number is not the first number, this number is not showing up when looking to invite friends. You may need to reorder the contact numbers right now. We are working on this issue.

Known Bugs We Are Working On

— We have a known bug. If you have iPhone 5, the My Events page will crash the app if you poke an event. If you are hosting an event and want to view or edit it and have iPhone 5, please open it from the main screen instead.
